Erin Roy
Erin has the office support role at the school. When you call the school, you hear her voice first. She is in charge of student enrollment and the the orientation process. Erin looks after student records and all of the office duties one might expect at an online school. As a recent grade twelve graduate she is "The new kid on the block", who we defer to for advice on all sorts of issues.
Debbie Mielke
Debbie is our “Road Warrior”. She gets her nickname for the amount of hours she puts on the road visiting our students all over Northern Saskatchewan . She is just like a postman; she will go through blizzards, -40 weather and dust storms to see our students. She has been known to do the same for a golf game (LOL). She is part of the administration team at the online school and makes sure everyone is organized. She teaches Math 10, Science 10 and Practical and Applied Arts 10/20/30. She has twenty-seven years experience teaching and has taught in Saskatoon , Hudson Bay and Beauval . She has completed her Master's in Distance Education through Athabasca University . You can bribe her with her favourite foods, roast beef and BBQ steak.

 

Ted Green
tedTed travels around the north by canoe every summer. You may have seen him on television in Saskatchewan Centennial Canoe Quest series. Ted is the principal of the Masinahikana Online School. He occasionally gets an emergency call and disappears to join an air search for the Civial Air Search and Rescue organization. He has taught in Sucker River , Stanley Mission and La Ronge . He teaches English A10, EnglishB10, Communication Production Technology 10/20/30, and Bridging Math. Ted is a life long learner and has his Master's in Curriculum development. He keeps all the students and teachers entertained with his music, accents and zany sense of humour . When it comes to food, any wild game is Ted's favorite choice.

brentBrent Endicott
Brent is the newest member of the edcentre.ca team. He moved to La Ronge in the fall of 2008 to teach senior science classes at Churchill School and chose to stay in the boreal forest region to enjoy the benefits of living in the northern enviornment. He is developing resources and teaching senior sciences online. He is working on web based Biology 30 and Chemistry 30 from February to June of 2009. In the fall he will be splitting his time between teaching for the Chem Tech program with Northlands College and teaching biology and chemistry online.


Kelly Haydukewich

Kelly Haydukewich is our “Paparazzi.” He gets his nickname for always taking pictures and video footage of our students. Here he is wrestling Gilbert Bird for a photo shoot (LOL). Kelly teaches, Math 30A, Math 30B and Physics 30 at Masinahikana School . Kelly is a northern boy who grew up at Candle Lake . He has lived in La Ronge for ten years and has two little ones that keep him and his wife busy. In his spare time Kelly enjoys the great outdoors, cycling, boating, fishing, and cross-country skiing. Kelly tells us the best food to eat morning, noon and night, hot or cold, is PIZZA!


Kona Bryson

Kona is our efficiency expert. She gets her nickname from her amazing ability to juggle multiple tasks and complete everything on time. Her planning and organization skills are something we all admire. If you need help staying on track and working toward your goals, Kona is the person to call. If you want to know how to make positive energy work for you and those around you, she is a shining example.

She grew up in La Ronge , Saskatchewan . She is the oldest of 10 step brothers and sisters. She went to Nortep and graduated in 1996. She taught in Sandy Bay, SK for four years, Flin Flon , MB for four years and is now back in La Ronge . She teaches Native Studies 10, English A30, English B30 and Native Studies 30 . She has a young son in elementary school. She looks forward to working with all the on-line students in Northern Saskatchewan
